Description

KLOW — Multi-Compound Tissue Repair Research Blend

KLOW is a pre-blended research peptide combination containing four of the most extensively studied compounds in tissue repair, anti-inflammatory, and angiogenesis research. The acronym KLOW references the four component compounds, each with an independent and substantial published research base. This formulation is anchored by a 50mg dose of GHK-Cu — the copper-binding tripeptide most extensively researched in skin remodeling, gene expression, and antioxidant pathway contexts — supported by three complementary repair-pathway peptides. The combination is intended for parallel investigation of multiple research mechanisms in a single research model, with particular emphasis on dermal and skin-research applications driven by the GHK-Cu-weighted ratio.

About the Components

KLOW contains four pre-blended research compounds:

GHK-Cu (Copper Tripeptide-1) — 50mg, the anchor compound in this formulation. A naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide composed of glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine bound to a copper(II) ion. Research applications include skin remodeling, collagen and elastin synthesis pathways, antioxidant activity, gene expression modulation across hundreds of repair-related genes, and hair follicle biology research.

KPV (Lys-Pro-Val) — 10mg. A synthetic tripeptide corresponding to the C-terminal sequence of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). Research applications include NF-κB pathway modulation, anti-inflammatory cytokine research, and mast cell activity studies.

TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4 Fragment) — 10mg. A synthetic peptide corresponding to an active region of the naturally occurring Thymosin Beta-4 protein. Research applications include actin regulation, cell migration research, angiogenesis pathways, and soft tissue repair research models.

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound 157) — 10mg. A synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a partial sequence of a protective protein originally identified in human gastric juice. Research applications include angiogenesis, growth factor expression, nitric oxide pathway modulation, and tendon, ligament, and soft tissue repair pathway research.

Combined Research Applications

The KLOW blend is used in research contexts including:

  • Skin remodeling and dermal repair research models
  • Collagen and elastin synthesis research with anti-inflammatory pathway support
  • Multi-pathway tissue repair research models
  • Comparative studies on combined versus single-compound repair protocols
  • Anti-inflammatory and immune-modulation research
  • Angiogenesis and vascular network formation research
  • Hair follicle and follicular biology research
  • Cell migration and cytoskeletal organization research
  • Research on overlapping growth factor and signaling pathway interactions

The GHK-Cu-anchored formulation of KLOW shifts the research emphasis toward skin and dermal research applications relative to other multi-compound repair blends. GHK-Cu has the most extensive published research base of any compound in the formulation for dermal and cosmetic chemistry contexts, supported by KPV’s anti-inflammatory profile, TB-500’s cell migration research applications, and BPC-157’s angiogenesis pathway activity. Each component compound operates through a distinct primary mechanism — GHK-Cu through copper-mediated signaling and gene expression, KPV through NF-κB inflammatory pathway modulation, TB-500 through actin regulation and cell migration, and BPC-157 through growth factor expression and angiogenesis — allowing researchers to investigate parallel pathway activity in a single research model.

Reconstitution & Storage

The lyophilized KLOW blend should be stored at -20°C for long-term stability and protected from light. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, the solution should be refrigerated at 2–8°C and used within the timeframe indicated on the product COA. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as they can degrade peptide integrity.

Note: Because this product is a pre-blended combination, all four compounds reconstitute together in the same solution at the ratios listed in the product specifications. Researchers requiring isolated GHK-Cu, KPV, TB-500, or BPC-157 for single-compound studies should use the standalone product listings.

Also note: KLOW presents as a distinctly blue color in both lyophilized and reconstituted form, due to the copper(II) ion in the GHK-Cu component. The blue is particularly pronounced in this formulation because of the 50mg GHK-Cu content. This is expected and is a normal characteristic of the blend — it does not indicate contamination or degradation.

Storage & Handling

Storage & Handling

Proper storage and handling are essential to maintaining peptide stability and ensuring the integrity of your research material.

Storage Recommendations

Lyophilized peptides should be stored at -20°C for long-term preservation. For short-term storage of up to 30 days, refrigeration between 2-8°C is acceptable. Reconstituted peptides should always be refrigerated and used within 30 days.

Avoid the following:

Direct sunlight or UV exposure Repeated freeze-thaw cycles Temperature fluctuations Storage at room temperature beyond brief handling periods

Reconstitution Best Practices

Allow vials to reach room temperature before opening to prevent condensation. Use bacteriostatic water as the diluent for most peptides, injecting slowly along the side of the vial. Gently swirl to dissolve — do not shake. Allow the solution to fully dissolve before drawing for research use.

Shelf Life

Lyophilized peptides maintain potency for up to 24 months when stored properly at -20°C. Reconstituted solutions should be used within 30 days for optimal research results.
